Allergen and Cross-Contact Policy
What is your allergen cross-contact policy?
Our manufacturing facilities comply with FDA regulations, which require Allergen Control programs to prevent allergen cross-contact of the top allergens. Part of the allergen controls includes dedicated allergen-free equipment or a full clean post-allergen production and testing using allergen-specific test kits to ensure the equipment is free from the allergen. In addition, our products are periodically tested for the top allergens (milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy, gluten, and sesame) as verification that the allergen control programs are effective.

Corn
What is corn-free?
We follow the Johns Hopkins definition of corn-free products* which states products are considered corn-free if they do not have the presence of corn protein in the final sweets. As far as health and safety are concerned, we always advise consulting your medical professional.
Are any of your ingredients derived from corn?
The citric acid and ascorbic acid used in our products are derived from corn, beets, cassava and/or cane sugar. However, there is no corn protein present in the citric acid and ascorbic acid.
What products are corn free?
The following YumEarth products are considered corn-free: peppermint hard candies, candy canes (regular & mini), and holiday peppermint puffs.
What products contain corn as an ingredient?
Any products containing corn as an ingredient are listed on the packaging. Currently, our Choco Yums and Pomegranate Licorice contain corn.

Is there corn in any of your products?
There is either a trace amount of corn or corn as an ingredient in all of our candies except the following products, which do not contain corn: peppermint hard candies, candy canes (regular & mini), and holiday peppermint puffs.
How do you color your products?
We color our products with Organic fruit and vegetable juice concentrates as well as other naturally occurring colors derived from roots – there is no artificial dye in our products.
